Hi-tech house 36 — pared-back functionality and unconditional comfort
Waking up in a spacious bedroom, taking a shower, walking barefoot down the wide hallway into a living-kitchen filled with light and air on three sides, opening the wide door and stepping out with a cup of hot coffee onto the covered terrace with garden furniture. Modular home “Hi-Tech 36” — the ergonomics of comfort
The modular home in hi-tech style was designed by KOLEO’s architecture studio for the comfortable permanent living of a family of 1-2 people.
The layout follows current architectural trends:
- two entrances – from the terrace side, and a front door with a porch at the centre of the building;
- the hallway is a transit zone from the living room to the bathroom and bedroom;
- a private bedroom zone with large windows is set apart;
- a comfortable bathroom with a small window for natural light and ventilation;
- a transformable space for socialising – a large living-kitchen and terrace.
There is enough room in the house for storage systems, kitchen, upholstered and modular furniture, and appliances. Large windows reach down to the floor, blurring the line between the interior and the surroundings. The frameless glazing looks especially striking.
“Hi-Tech 36” — the advantages of a modular home
Modular homes don’t require expensive preparatory construction work; assembling the finished modules takes 2-5 days. The module elements, already fitted with electrical and water systems, are brought to the site and set on the prepared foundation. KOLEO builds the timber structures from high-quality Carpathian wood.
The wall structure of the modular home, together with the building systems and roof, is designed for a service life of up to 40 years, is earthquake-resistant, and the building elements have received fire-retardant treatment. Residents of a modular home save up to 30% on heating compared with houses built of silicate brick.
