WHAT ARE CLT PANELS?
WHY ARE CLT HOUSES SO POPULAR?
CLT panels (KLH, BSP, X-LAM, CROSS-LAM) are a building material made of cross-laminated wood. They are used in modern construction as walls, interfloor floors, floors, partitions, ceilings, and large-sized elements. CLT panel is a unique building material for the construction of private houses, administrative and public buildings.
The production technology makes it possible to obtain a durable material that retains the natural property of wood to “breathe” and is free from its disadvantages: shrinkage, cracking, and rotting. CLT panels are even used in the construction of multi-storey buildings.
The panels have excellent physical and mechanical properties, have good thermal insulation properties and can withstand heavy loads without shrinkage or deformation. The products have high fire resistance.
The material is environmentally friendly. Its use in construction can significantly reduce the carbon footprint at the stages of panel production and building sales.

KOLEO Construction Company supplies house kits that are assembled on site similar to a construction set, which is especially convenient when it is necessary to build a facility in a remote city or in another country. We select all the necessary parts and building materials, deliver them to the construction site and, at the request of the customer, assemble the house ourselves or perform supervision.
FAQ
Is a house made of CLT panels subject to shrinkage?
CLT panels do not shrink due to their structure and manufacturing technology. Immediately after the construction is completed, you can start finishing, there is no need to wait for the shrinkage period, and no cracks or deformations will occur.
Is it possible to live in CLT houses in winter?
A house made of CLT panels is suitable for year-round living. Wood has low thermal conductivity and retains heat very well. For exterior walls, panels of 7-9 layers are used, and thanks to the tight bonding of the panel itself and the high-quality assembly of the walls during installation, the CLT panel structure is almost monolithic and does not let the cold pass through. Such a house does not blow or crack, and for even greater heat preservation, it is possible to use insulation.
Is it possible to build a CLT house in winter?
The construction of CLT houses can be started at any time of the year. The dry construction method is undemanding to weather conditions, as we install completely finished, solid walls, partitions, roofs, etc.
How long will a house made of CLT panels last?)
Buildings constructed according to the technology and in compliance with regulations can last more than 100 years without serious deformation. Thanks to this assembly system, houses can be extended to increase living space.
