Gable roofs covered with metal tiles or soft roofing provide reliable protection from weather conditions.
Metal doors and stained glass panoramic windows on the west side give the building a modern look.
The project proposes the use of environmentally friendly heaters such as basalt stone wool. The protective film ensures the durability and energy efficiency of the building. Thanks to the frame construction technology, the house is being built in 60 days.
The facade of the house can be finished with various materials, such as ventilation panels, imitation wood, artificial stone, siding, fiber cement panels, etc. The project is suitable for comfortable living for up to 6 people.

WHY IT IS WORTH BUILDING FINNISH HOUSES

LIGHT SHADES
unique design and architecture, a sense of space and light.
They often have large windows and open floor plans.

SIMPLE LINES
The Scandinavian style of houses is characterized by simplicity and functionality.
All elements of the house have their purpose and are not overloaded with decorative elements.

NATURAL MATERIALS
houses are built from environmentally friendly materials such as wood, stone and glass.
This makes them more resistant to harmful environmental influences and safer for health.
FINNISH FRAME HOUSE

The basis of the cottage is a wooden frame filled with insulation.
The buildings are characterized by simplicity and speed of construction, efficiency, comfortable microclimate, structural strength, reliability and aesthetic appearance.
Their advantages include an affordable price and the ability to be assembled without the use of bulky special equipment. Designing is based on a rational approach and is thought out to the smallest detail.
Prefabricated buildings are often constructed using a simplified method and assembled on the construction site as a construction kit from prefabricated kits made in a factory according to the project:
- The Pre-Cut kit is assembled into a single structure on site;
- modules are ready-made units with external finishing;
- house kit – modules with windows, doors, and exterior cladding.
CONSTRUCTION OF A FINNISH FRAME HOUSE
1. 1.

- UFF (insulated Finnish foundation) is a prefabricated insulated strip foundation made in 3 or 4 rows of blocks or monolithic concrete, which are installed around the perimeter of the building on a pillow of sand and gravel;
- with the use of OSB (insulated Swedish board), designed for a finishing floor, consisting of a drainage layer, heat-insulating pavement and communications
2. FINNISH FRAME

The construction of the frame begins with a load-bearing frame made of timber or dried planed boards.
This horizontal bottom bracing is the basis for the construction of walls made of posts (beams).
The strength of the wall and the whole house depends on the rectangular cross-sectional posts, as they take the main load.
They are installed around the perimeter at a certain distance corresponding to the size of the insulation.
Floor beams or rafters are installed on the posts.
3. ERECTION OF A ROOF IN A SCANDINAVIAN HOUSE

Installation for the roofroofs, attics or dormers are created from prefabricated parts manufactured at the factory. Structurally, the trusses are made as a single element.
A ventilation gap is left under the roofing material, for which a crate made of slats or bars is mounted and laid on top of the waterproofing layer.
4. INSTALLATION OF WALL CAKE ELEMENTS INCLUDING ENGINEERING SYSTEMS

The wall cake includes several layers:
- Facade imitation of timber
- Lathing 20×100
- Counter crate 30×50
- Wind and hydro protection
- Wooden beams 50×150 mm with a spacing of 600 mm.
- Rail 50×50
- Insulation 200 mm
- Vapor barrier
- Counter crate 30×50
- Lathing 20×100
- Lambertia or imitation lumber
5. FINISHING OF FRAME WALLS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE

Finns prefer to sheathe the walls of the facade with block house, clapboard or other wooden materials, leaving a ventilated gap.
The cladding is fixed on the outside of the panel, which allows to increase the rigidity of the structure.
If the cladding is to be painted, a primer is applied first.
Before painting, a pile is usually formed on the wood, which forms a thicker and more durable protective layer.
The inside is sheathed with plywood sheets for painting or wallpapering.
This approach is used both in interior designand exterior design to ensure the aesthetics and durability of the house.
FINNISH HOUSE MADE OF TIMBER
A classic Finnish house built of glued laminated timber is a one-story structure with a low ceiling and large panoramic windows, for which one side is allocated.
But now houses are being built with a large number of floors.
The buildings are characterized by comfort, 100% environmental friendliness and safety.
In Ukraine, this type of building is used for profiled timber from Transcarpathian spruce is used for this type of building.

SCANDINAVIAN HOUSES MADE OF GLUED LAMINATED TIMBER
- glued laminated timber is more durable and stronger than solid wood;
- has high frost resistance, low thermal conductivity, and resistance to delamination;
- cracks are almost completely eliminated due to the minimum humidity of up to 14%;
- has a stable geometric shape;
- The surface of the products is polished from the factory;
- special impregnation provides resistance to fire and rot;
- resistant to damage by rodents and insects.

TECHNOLOGY OF BUILDING A FINNISH HOUSE FROM TIMBER
From project development to cosmetic finishing, construction goes through several stages:
- Before the construction of a pile or strip foundation, the following is first carried out geological explorationThe site is cleaned up, a trench is dug, and a cushion of sand and gravel is laid. Mortar is poured into the formwork made of boards around the perimeter using a reinforcing mesh. The mixture is leveled, covered with a film and hardens. Further construction resumes in a month (in the case of a reinforced concrete strip or slab foundation).

2. All the materials of the finished kit are delivered to the site and the building is assembled like a construction set:
- a waterproofing material and a board treated with mastic to protect against moisture in the lower part of the structure are laid on the foundation;
- Beams and flooring are installed;
- walls are erected from glued beams – crowns are installed, starting from the first row;
- Insulating material is placed in the grooves and the next rows are assembled;
- in every third beam dowels are inserted into the protruding part of the crowns to fasten the walls, strengthen their strength and prevent distortion.
- It is mounted the rafter system and the roof is installed.
- Work is underway inside and outside:
- electrical wiring is installed;
- water supply, sewerage, heating, and ventilation systems are installed;
- Doors and windows are installed.
The buildings combine high quality, reasonable cost and ease of installation.

How to install engineering systems in a Scandinavian frame cottage?
Installation of engineering systems in a frame house requires careful planning and execution in accordance with the project documentation. Here is a detailed description of the installation of each of the main elements of engineering systems:
- Electricity supply. The installation of electrical wiring in a frame house usually involves laying cables inside the wall panels before closing them with a raised beam or other finishing material. It is important to use non-combustible cables suitable for use in wet conditions with sufficient resistance to mechanical damage. The cables should be fixed to the frame posts with plastic clips.
- Water supply. Pipes for cold and hot water are installed inside the walls and floor before finishing. Higher-density polyethylene pipes are usually used, which are corrosion-resistant and have a long service life. Pipelines should be carefully insulated, especially in cold climates, to prevent freezing.
- Sewerage. The sewer system includes the installation of drainage pipes that collect wastewater and direct it to an external sewer system or septic tank. Pipes are usually laid out with a slope to allow for gravity flow of wastewater, installed in floors and secured to the subfloor before the finish coating is applied.
- Heating. The heating system can be water or air. Radiators are mounted on the walls, and pipes for underfloor heating are laid in a concrete screed or under wooden coverings. It is important to ensure proper pipe insulation to minimize heat loss.
- Ventilation. A ventilation system is necessary to provide fresh air and remove contaminants. Ventilation ducts are installed in ceilings and walls facing the outside. For frame buildings, a forced ventilation system with heat recovery is often used to save energy needed for heating.
