To achieve the best result, the production of sawn boards, profiled timber, debarked logs, glued laminated timber and round logs for the production of a wooden house follows the approved technology for manufacturing prefabricated wooden structures. This stage, known as wooden house production or log house production, takes anywhere from one to four weeks depending on volume, and can be loosely split into two parts.
The first part – selecting quality material – the wood from which the round log, glued laminated timber or profiled timber and sawn lumber for building wooden structures is made.
As a log cabin manufacturer, we source the material for producing wooden cottages, bathhouses, restaurants and hotels ourselves, on site – in Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine – a mountainous, ecologically clean region in the Carpathian highlands. As a rule, we keep the necessary amount of material in stock for producing wooden structures, so the client doesn’t have to wait for round logs or glued laminated timber to become ready for processing.
The result of timber harvesting is raw wood material, which is then processed and used to build residential houses, bathhouses, and industrial buildings.
Priority is given to selective regeneration felling, selective methods, and natural forest renewal. Selective felling keeps the forest healthy while still allowing the use of the largest, and sometimes most valuable, timber. On top of that, this kind of harvesting doesn’t lead to forest loss.
When felling timber, we trim the branches and cut the logs to the needed length. This way we minimise both our costs and yours, avoid transporting unnecessary weight, and deliver ready-cut timber sections to production in the required length and quantity.
The second part – the actual production of wooden house components.
Each of these production processes, at the manufacturing stage, is completed with antiseptic treatment of the parts, marking according to the project documentation, and assembly of the house kit.
