PROJECT "BARN 90"

The four-room, two-storey barn house of 90 square metres looks as follows.

Exterior:

• façade: made of natural materials such as timber and metal.
  Dark or light timber cladding is combined with a metal roof, and the traditional shape recalls a classic barn;
• roof: a gable roof with a steep pitch.
  It gives the house its distinctive barn silhouette;
• windows: a large panoramic window for maximum natural light.
  Windows of different heights and widths let you create interesting visual effects;
• entrance: a simple but expressive solid timber door.
  A small porch or terrace may sit in front of it.

Ground floor.

• living area: the upper floor covers only half of the footprint, which makes the ground floor spacious with high ceilings.
  The living room flows into the kitchen and dining area, creating a large open space for family time.
  A large fireplace or stove can become the centrepiece of the interior;
• kitchen: modern, with a large island and practical built-in cabinets. We use natural materials such as timber and stone;
• bedroom: one bedroom on the ground floor, ideal for guests or for anyone who prefers not to climb stairs;
• bathroom: fully fitted with all the necessary sanitary ware. Its design matches the overall style of the house, using simple, natural materials;
• utility room: a small laundry and pantry.

First floor. Bedrooms: three bedrooms give the residents privacy.
One of them is the master bedroom with access to a small balcony.
Bathroom: a second bathroom for the comfort of the upper floor.

A small reading or work corner can also be arranged.
