The design of this project clearly follows the Finnish style, although it can’t be called uniform. Several ready-made designs were taken as a basis for the work. The details that stood out were then analysed and the elements brought together into a single picture. The house is designed for a large family, occupies an area of 481 sq. m and comprises two floors plus an attic. The well-thought-out layout with an attic not only makes maximum use of the available space, but also gives every element of the house special significance.
The ground floor has two bedrooms – one for the parents and one guest room. Both rooms have access to the spacious terrace, an ideal spot for relaxing outdoors. The kitchen and dining room are combined into one large open space, providing convenience and encouraging family interaction. A separately positioned living room with high ceilings and a double-height space adds grandeur and openness to the central area of the ground floor.
The second floor has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort. A hall with an integrated library becomes the central feature of this floor, offering a place for reading and relaxation. The large living room on this floor has a bay-window wall and a fireplace, creating a cosy atmosphere for family gatherings. Two bedrooms have private balconies offering a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside.
The “Yeremiya” house project stands out for its clearly organised layout and symmetrical façade, which creates a balanced look from the terrace. The façade is finished with uniform glazing, contributing to a harmonious sense of space, as well as matching fencing and roofing, which adds visual coherence.
This isn’t just a house, but a carefully planned living space that combines the beauty of Finnish architecture with modern architectural trends. Designed to meet the needs of a large family, the house is an example of comfort, privacy and aesthetic appeal. It embodies the idea that a true home is a place where everyone finds room for their own personal growth and wellbeing.
