The upper floor houses two children’s rooms, an additional walk-in closet, a bathroom, as well as a master bedroom with its own bathroom, walk-in closet and balcony access. This level of the home is designed to provide privacy and cosiness, with a refined view of the natural surroundings that makes every waking moment special.

A spacious timber house built in the chalet style embodies reliability and aesthetic appeal. The use of high-quality glulam not only ensures the strength of the structure, but also lends cohesion and warmth to the building’s exterior. Thanks to its uniformity and the absence of large knots, glulam is ideal for creating the large, open spaces characteristic of a chalet.
The chalet architectural style is particularly distinguished by its wide overhanging eaves, which not only protect the walls from the elements but also give the house its characteristic alpine look. The gable roof, often clad in natural materials such as wooden shingles or stone, underscores this style’s traditional connection to nature.
The house’s façade is often finished in stone, which not only adds to its solidity and refinement but also integrates the building into the natural landscape. This natural material is used to finish not only the exterior but also interior elements, creating a harmonious and cosy interior. All these aspects together form the unique appearance and atmosphere of the chalet-style timber house, making it an ideal place to live and relax.
One of the key design features is the 45-degree rotation of part of the house, made necessary by the plot’s non-standard boundaries and the abundance of trees we wished to preserve. This architectural solution made it possible to orient the façade towards the entrance area, to preserve the stunning views from the windows and balconies over the surrounding forest, and to integrate nature into the overall composition of the space.
The roof of the house is covered with mineral shingles, which favourably highlight the gable lines of the storeys and add more detail to the overall appearance of the structure. The entrance area and terrace are finished with massive columns, each made up of two posts, creating an impression of reliability and stability.
